The FIFA World Football Museum is a museum dedicated to the football. The FIFA World Football Museum is the newest Zurich Museum hosted by FIFA Headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland. The goal of building this Museum is to show the whole world how football has valued some people’s lives and influenced many other lives.

The museum is a great option for all football lovers. Its construction began in 2012 and was unveiled on February 28, 2016. The museum is located in 3, 500 square meters on three floors. The building includes a sports bar, a bistro, a coffee shop, a library, a museum store and conference rooms. The exhibition of the museum includes memories from every World Cup and also the Women’s World Cup.

The ground floor shows the amazing solidarity between 211 different nations that the FIFA has established between them. Inside this floor FIFA’s history has been depicted. From the first football establishment in England in 1863 until the founding of FIFA in 1904 and then to this day. All the important documents of this long history are seen in this section. The second floor is the historic floor of the museum, and the FIFA World Cup gallery is featured in this section. The “Fields of Play section” shows the global impact of football on the people of the whole world and wants to prove that as well as being entertaining and sporting football, it motivates people in their lives.

There are several exhibitions in the museum that will take you to the first days of the sport and showcased the World Cup since the first year of the 1930s. The interactive exhibitions and multimedia center has over 500 videos of football’s historic games. More than 1000 pieces of equipment and memorials, including photographs and the kits of national teams and big players, have been exhibited at the FIFA Museum’s exclusive exhibitions. Children in the museum can entertain themselves with games and puzzles related to football.

In addition to its impressive collections, a research and library center has also been created in this museum that holds more than 7,000 books. You can also go to the FIFA Museum cafe or restaurant, and after that, you can go to the shops and buy souvenirs.

FIFA Museum in Zurich is not a traditional museum. This is a place filled with remarkable memories of this global organization over the years. The fateful and memorable moments of football with the highest facilities of the world of technology are exposed to the visitors of this museum.
