Cheese, chocolate and perfect watches are among the top things, which come to mind, while speaking about Switzerland, but the country’s investment opportunities are second to none.

The country of strong democratic traditions, located in the center of Europe, offers everything that investor needs: transparency, stability and the rule of law. The country’s government and currency are among the world most stable and the Swiss Franc is seen as an alternative to the weakening Euro.

While the world economy is not experiencing its brightest days, Switzerland remains one of the Europe’s growing economies and the country’s industrial output per capita beats such economic power houses as Germany, United States and China.

According to the World Bank’s «Doing Business 2015» report, the country ranks among the 20 most business-friendly countries. Swiss people are known to work hard, they have once even voted against a proposal to extend holidays on the national referendum in 2012. That might sound a bit strange for an outsider, but working to please customers is a daily routine in Switzerland.

Hard working although doesn’t mean been boring

According to the 2015 World Happiness Report, Switzerland was called the world happiest nation, leaving 158 countries behind them. Maybe because an average Swiss person eats 12 kilogram of chocolate per year? Or maybe because the country provides the best vacation and leisure opportunities: from Ski and SPA?
